Just heard that he (Lincecum) gave up only his second homer of the year vs righties. WOWZA.
Yeah Pedro looked good tonight, but I still don't trust him. People are talking like he is a # 3 starter, lets just say Philly falls to 0-2 or 1-1 in a playoff series do you REALLY want to put your eggs in the Pedro basket?

A vast array of pitchers have looked like Lefty Grove this season when facing the Giants feeble offense, so best not to judge Pedro on the basis of holding them to one run. I did a quick count and tonight was the 20th time in '09 that SF has scored one run or less in a game. Among the megastars who have put the arm on the Giants attack we find Chris Young of the Padres (ERA 5.21 and he did it twice)) Eric Stults of the Dodgers (ERA 4.86) Chad Gaudin of the Padres (ERA 4.96) Sean West of the Marlins (ERA 4.22) Max Scherzer of the Diamondbacks (ERA 4.10) Sean O' Sulivan of Angels (ERA 6.60) Trevor Cahill of the A's (ERA 4.66) Chris Volstad of the Marlins (ERA 5.03) Charlie Morton of the Pirates (ERA 5.43) and fat Matt Capps of the Pirates (ERA 6.09)
So Pedro isn't really in elite company when he holds the Giants to a run or less.

Well after reading that stat about only scoring 1 run 20 times this year, I think I have to root for the Rockies now since they can produce more offense
Maybe it can be a repeat of the 2006 NL Wilcard series
