I think this is going to be a long, hard series. The Phills, showed you why they are World Champs. I think the Dodgers will bounce back in Game 2. Heck, they have to.

Yes they do!
They do not want to come back East to the 215 down 0-2. Because if that happens Reynolds aka It's a Wrap!
that was an entertaining game last night, I have to give Philly credit, I really felt like the Dodgers were going to win right up until the Ibanez homer. and even after that they still didn't go away. I have to agree with the other posters the Dodgers can't go down 0-2.
That vaunted Dodgers bullpen didn't look too unstoppable last night, and if Clayton Kershaw, a 21 year old, is the #1 starter, the Dodgers are in trouble. Depending on which version of Pedro we see today, I could see a Phillies sweep.
I can see the Phils knocking Padilla out of the game early and sending him back to his bottle.

Kershaw isn't being compared to Koufax without good reason. He can be as difficult for the Phils as Pedilla was today.
People think I'm nuts when I say the Phillies play down to bad pitchers and vice-versa. Look at what Padilla did to them and then what they did to Kershaw the day before and what they did to Ubaldo Jimenez and Houston Street. In the regular season the Phillies made stars out of guys like Anibal Sanchez, John Maine and Tim Redding but lit up Josh Johnson Johnny Cueto, Adam Wainright, etc. It really is amazing.
Im glad you were confident, but the Phillies proved clearly superior this time around.
