They should call it the "Band Box" Series. We may see the most home runs ever hit in a WS in this one. Anyone have the stat for that?

I doubt it with the great pitching on both teams but good question!
My guess is 2002 (Giants-Angels) .
Total HR's: 21 (14 from the Giants. Maybe Barry shared some of his Balco lovejuice? )

The thing I like about this series from the Phillies' perspective is Yankee Stadium favors both left-handed power hitters and left-handed pitchers and the Phillies have a lot of those kind of guys. Actually, Citizens Bank Park tends to favor right-handed power hitters and right-handed pitchers, so the Phils don't fit particularly well into their own park, but they are a good enough team that it doesn't matter too much. Against a very good team like the Yankees though, having a ballpark that works to your strengths helps though, and ironically Yankee Stadium could help the visiting team in this series.

KYW Newsradio in Philly calls it an Amtrak series. I like that one better seeing as how both cities are rail towns.
Anyway, I go to college in Ohio and my two friends from Trenton are pulling for Phillies (although one is a New York Giants fan )

Amtrak? Only out of towners who don't know regional rail lines use Amtrak. Not to mention Amtrak is overpriced. Getting from NY to Philly is easy. Use the NJ Transit train to Trenton then hop on the SEPTA train to Philly. Round trip probably costs no more than $30 and you'll be there in less than 2 hours.

The Trenton area is where the fan loyalty starts to split. There are a few fans in Brdgewater/Somerville along 206, but overall that area has a strong NY presence. There are Mets fans also, but no one will admit this at the moment. In the "Lehizzle forshizzle" Valley, as my friend and I so affectionately refer to the area, more Yankees fans start to crop up in the Northampton County part of the Valley, especially Easton and Phillipsburg, while the Western part of the LV is definitely more solidly behind Philly.

I think SEPTA and NJ Transit stopped coordinating the connections at Trenton, at least they did during the summer timetable. Amtrak actually released its fall 2009/winter 2010 timetable today, and SEPTA and NJ Transit typically update their regional/commuter rail schedules at the same time. I'm not sure if they readjusted the schedules to facilitate the connection at Trenton again or not. It was pretty stupid IMO that they stopped having the coordinated time connection to begin with.
The teams themselves will probably use Amtrak to travel between the cities (or at least I'll be surprised if they don't, considering the Phils will probably be staying in midtown Manhattan and the Yanks will probably be staying in Center City Philadelphia when each team is the visiting team).
