Is there a roof? And AC?

I went to one Marlins game (THIS GAME) a few years ago and it was all I could do to stay the whole game. The heat was unbearable. As was the fact that LA got crushed.

Not sure about the AC situation - but there definitely is a roof

it's more a safeco field type retractable (obviously built a little sturdier to meet florida building requirements - you can see it in the bottom picture, that will slide over the building

i really don't know about if there is AC or not - i imagine there will be to some degree - it looks like it will seal up enough to do this, but i'm not positive

if you look at LF, another nice feature is that they have glass panels that will allow you to see the city in the distance - those panels will also slide, so when the building is open or when all they need is the roof to block the sun you can get some air into the building

they have something similar here in Phoenix with Chase Field - but it's not nearly as attractive with the panels and even when open it still feels a bit like an airplane hangar

and in *shocking* news the marlins have agreed to a 4 year, $39M contract with Josh Johnson

with hanley those are two pretty good pieces secured for when the new building opens
