Alright, so the Braves beat the Fish 8-4 on 14 hits (it's pretty good that ATL won considering they had 4 errors). I'm glad that they took 2/3 but more importantly (2nd most), the division the Bravos play in doesn't have any sorry teams. On the surface* one could say that it's the strongest.

I don't know if the NL East is the strongest division, but it certainly looks like the most even. This year's division title isn't going to be decided in a runaway--whoever gets hot in September is going to take it.

Yep. And the Braves actually have a chance to get even with the philles or better really soon, imagine that! they're only 1 1/2 games behind philly, and after today's game with the pirates, they play a 3 game series with the Phils.

Also, congrats to chippr for starting to get a little hot, maybe he can turn this season around.

yesterday: Braves beat Pirates 6-3, J-Hey hits HR #10, and Martin Prado has 2 more RBI's.

Wo-ho! Chipper hit a 2 run home run, glaus had a 3run homer, and the Braves beat the Phils 9-3. Nice pitching by Tommy Hanson too.

And now the Braves have just leap froged ahead of the Phils into first place. Imagine, a couple of weeks ago we were last and behind by 6 1/2 games.

Go Braves!!!!!!!!!!

Good series but the Phillies are still banged up and I would have liked to see them get drilled with Rollins in the line-up...but I'll take it (of course). So the Bravos go on an 11 game road trip now. Go Braves.
