Our pitching is decent, but we don't have a lot of stick. Some weird stuff has got to happen if we should make a wildcard bid.

Injuries are killing us at the start of the 2nd half.

I just don't see it happening.

7th in the AL in batting runs above average with 22.4

6th in the AL in pitching runs above replacement with 103.6

And don't forget that defense matters. It's not all hitting and pitching.

7th in the AL in fielding runs above average with 3.8

Sweet! It looks like my Sox are a flip to make the postseason

It says the cubs are .2% which means one out of 500 right? if someone gave me 500-1 odds, I would bet a ton of money on the Cubs making the playoffs, even tho I figured their season was DOA

Not only does this help the Tigers; but it hurts the Columbus Clippers. Double win!

Kinda been thinking the same thing about your squad the last month or so. They're probably wrecking their shot at a good draft choice. I believe the Twins are working on a block-buster trade for next week...

I have suddenly become a big fan of the Detroit Tigers and wish them the best of luck and many wins now they are back home in the comfy confines. Who do they have next?

If the Twins pull off winning the division this year, Gardy should be a lock for manager of the year. With all the injuries to key players that they've withstood and still kept playing good ball to this point, I'm getting to be a bigger Gardenhire fan all the time.
