Which of these exceptional batters would you want on your team?

Player A is the Phillies hitting vs the Giants this series (per 550 at bats)

Can you do with and without Cody? Just walk him

200 innings, 139 hits, 15 HR, 85 BB, 223 K

Pitcher B:
200 innings, 139 hits, 23 HR, 46 BB, 223 K

The situational hitting was atrocious tonight in the late innings. WTF was Rollins doing with that pop-out to the left side? Get the runner to third, first and foremost, WILL YA ? Pull the ball to the right side of the field. If all else fails, bunt the freaking runner over.

Blanton failed by not locking down the bottom of the 5th inning. Victorino bobbled the ball in his glove, thus not getting a legit out at the play opportunity. Utley does not look right.

The bullpen was shaky, with only Madson providing relief and getting outs. The manager left Durbin in too ****ing long. So basically, many issues tonight, plays not made, gaffs and errors... a total letdown and disappointment. That said, credit needs to be given to the other team.

What a great game. The put out at home by Rowand stands out as a HUGE play (and obviously a great play on the other end of that throw), but there were about 7 other plays you could point to. Great watch

Nope, not with less than two outs.

Like I said ... gaffs, errors, and failure to execute at crucial stages of the game.

According to win probability that was the 5th most important play
The difference between a tie game with nobody out and a one run lead with one out in that situation was 19%.

According to WP the most important single play in the game was Polanco's double in the 5th with two outs to score Victorino and Utley. It increased the Phillies' chances of winning from 36% to 65%
