Default 2018 Regular Season: Game 83 (2018-07-02 - 20:40) - Saint Louis Cardinals at Arizona Diamondbacks

It is great to see the Cardinals return to the win column with a needed win.

Marcell Ozuna and Kolten Wong were missing in action at bat.

I hope the Cardinals provide run support for Jack Flaherty as they threw him under the bus in his previous start.

The Cardinals find their way back to losing.

Tommy Pham and Marcell Ozuna did not hit balls with bats for base hits and runs batted in. They may need up for another benching.

Jack Flaherty has pitching issues. He can pitch well, but he loads up the bases and allowed earned runs. He needs to get with the program.

The Cardinals are two losses away from returning to 0.500 baseball. That is dangerous and would be going in the wrong direction. Bad pitching and not hitting balls with base for base hits and runs batted in continue to doom the Cardinals.

Miles Mikolas is pitching for the Cardinals. He can do his part for the Cardinals to win by producing a quality start.

The Cardinals' batters need to step up with run support.

The Cardinals win a series by taking two of three games from the Diamondbacks. Congratulations, Cardinals!

Tommy Pham and Marcell Ozuna rebounded hitting balls with bats for base hits and runs batted in. José Martínez had an off day.

Matt Carpenter tallied two errors from bad defensive play.

Miles Mikolas continues to dominate the Cardinals' pitching rotation.
