Default 2018 Regular Season: Game 107 (2018-07-31 - 19:15) - Colorado Rockies at Saint Louis Cardinals

The Cardinals need to step up to help Jack Flaherty earn a win. Flaherty has pitched well and has not received run support.

I look forward to Tyler O'Neill being an upgrade from Tommy Pham.

Yadie Molina, Paul DeJong, Marcell Ozuna, Jedd Gyorko, and Greg García neither hit balls with bats for base hits and runs batted in and/nor did not score runs. These losers need to sit out some games. It will help pitchers not work as hard to bail out the team lacking in run production.

The Cardinals need to start playing some of their acquired players in order to change their season. Some members who have bummed out need to sit games.

The Cardinals' youth showed up to make big plays and contributions in the win.

Dexter Fowler bummed out again. He did not hit balls with bats for base hits and runs batted in. He did not score any runs. He tallied two strikeouts. He is due to sit a game.

Default 2018 Regular Season: Game 109 (2018-08-02 - 12:15) - Colorado Rockies at Saint Louis Cardinals

The Cardinals have an opportunity to move into a tie with the Pittsburgh Pirates for third in the National League Central Division. They would have to defeat the Rockies.

How do the Cardinals win?

Miles Mikolas has an opportunity to produce another quality start. He has been the Cardinals' best starting pitcher this season.

The Cardinals' batters need to show up again hitting balls with bats for base hits and runs batted in. I hope the young Cardinals who stepped up Wednesday are more than flashes.

Dexter Fowler is due to sit a game. He continues to be a liability to the team on the field and in the clubhouse.
