The Cardinals take two out of three from the Padres with the 8-5 win Sunday. Randal Grichuk led the Cardinals with three runs batted in and hits in 3/5 at bats. Jedd Gyorko and Aledmys Diaz hit home runs.

Kevin Siegrist (3-0) won the decision, and Trevor Rosenthal (5) earned the save.

The Cardinals' bullpen imploded in the bottom of the sixth inning spotting the Diamondbacks nine runs. The Cardinals lost 12-7. Matt Bowman (0-1) lost the decision.

Not hitting balls with bats can be bad. It was bad for the Cardinals to lose to the Diamondbacks 3-0. Michael Wacha (2-1) gave up five hits, allowed three earned runs, two of those being home runs, and struck out nine in seven innings.
