19th in history of MLB, against a really powerful scoring team in Tampa Bay. His grandmother was there to see it. Unfortunately, his mother passed away when he was in high school.

The A's pitcher out of Phoenix and Stockton, CA went to Texas Tech and was drafted in 2004.

They even covered the story on ABC Nightly News tonite.

There was a little coverage on it from NBC Nightly News as well. A perfect game is an awesome accomplishment. Congrats to Dallas Braden!
