LOVE IT, That statement made the championship even more sweeter and I hope Shaq had the TV on when he said it. I was waiting for him to get more rings than Shaq and it finally happened

Congrats Kobe.

Wow! I'm kinda surprised he would say this. He always took the high road. You're joking right?

Kobe is still dazed by the victory over the Celtics. He is as candid as I have ever heard him. Kobe having fun with the media.

I am a BIG Laker fan...but for me MAGIC will always be the BEST Laker because for Magic it was ALWAYS about WINNING first, himself last.

For Kobe winning is important becuase it feeds his LEGACY. So I think it was very fitting that he had a bad game and HIS TEAM won GAME 7 (and the series).

The fact he's won his title against the franchise's arch rival and is on top of the world, then he says this, speaks lengths about him as a person.

I'm sure it's an running joke between Kobe & Shaq. He delivered it with such a contrived deadpan expression at the postgame interview, you almost felt sorry for him because he's not a comedian and it shows.
