True about Houston, but you never know. Most likely he will go to NYC and not Cali. His good friend is Stoudemire. Also, if he does go to the Lakers, the Nuggets will want Bynum and Odom.
Supposedly the Lakers have already offered the Nuggets Fisher and Odom for Melo. I haven't heard what the New York trade would consist of.

They will have to really improve on their offer if they want Melo. Other teams will have better offers with younger talent. Fish is over 35 and Odom 30 already. Also, i don't see any team trading for Melo unless he signs a contract extension, then trade. That would just be renting him for this season. Makes no sense at all giving up a bunch of your players to rent one guy out.

Yea I don't see the Nuggets being too interested in the Lakers offer if that's the best they can do.
A team will trade for Melo. The Nuggets are getting offers as we post. I don't see Melo accepting a trade to only play 1 year unless the Nuggets trade him to a team he doesn't want to play for. I highly doubt he's going to sign the extension, that would give Denver too much power. He's already signed to be apart of the Olympics so if he wanted to sign the extension, he would have already. I'm sure at this point the Nuggets are pretty sure Melo has no plans on signing the extension or staying in Denver, so they either trade him now or loose him for nothing.
Here's a article about him being traded to NY or Orlando.
Melo can agree to do a sign extension and trade assuming the Nuggets like what the other team is offering. Also, this assumes he likes the team that is wanting to trade for him. That way, all 3 parties are happy.
Wow I heard he only wanted to play for the Knicks, Nets, or Houston. I have no idea why only these teams but I guess he's trying to go with Amare and possibly get CP to come along later.

Allegedly his concern now is marketing and where he can go that will benefit him most in endorsements and that's no doubt the state of NY. Not to mention the effect NY has on his personal life. So I'd be highly surprised if he ends up in another state.
