You should seriously be a Spurs commentator.

this ties the spurs best start in franchise history. the other season they went 17-3?????? 2007-2008. what happened to them in 2008?

history needs not repeat itself.

The 2008 team and the present team are two totally different teams. Enough said. This season's team is better I might add.

oh i am just pointing out that your crowning them already is way premature. just like this team is different, so are the other contenders, and virtually all of them are better as well. the lakers are better, the mavs are surely better, the celtics are better, orlando is better. this season is going to come down to who can stay the healthiest, and who hits a stride at the right time. the spurs are notorious for late season "gel" and they have room to improve BUT we cant see the future we can only speculate and hope.

you say you have been watching for so long, then you know as well as i do that pop isnt worried about getting 60 wins, he just wants to be in the top 3-4 spots. as a mater of fact, the players actually urged him to let them try to get a better start this year then years past and see if they could get a better position, he wanted to work their way in slowly.

also the creme puff schedule hasnt hurt and december is not any harder. they will be in very good shape come january im sure. then pop will slow them down some until the all star break, then start working the defensive side of the ball more till the playoffs.

The think the team most equipped to take out the Lakers right now is the Celtics. Because they have the type of roster needed to combat the Lakers. Plenty of bigs( Shaq, Garnett, Perkins, Oneal), great perimeter players that compliment each other's abilities, and a STRONG defense. A little talked about story this year is Garnett's return to health. He hasn't looked this good since their championship run in 2008.

Spurs still on a tear. But its still real early to see how they can do against the East not to mention the tough leauge of the West. I can tell you this though, better shooting %, closing out games is what they have needed.

Just another day at the office for the silver and black. Yet another fourth quarter explosion by San Antonio and that was it for Atlanta. The Hawks sorely missed Johnson tonight out on the floor. But I don't think his presence would have made any difference in the outcome of the game. Spurs are just a locomotive screaming down the rails at full speed. Jump on or get out of the way.

Lmao, yup this is about the time of year for the mavs to be good. It's about that time for sure.

They sure looked good for a quarter last night, before they almost blew a 22 point lead to the short handed jazz. Good win though.
