in the state of Florida-"Miami/Orlando"

Do you agree? I have to say that I didn't expect the Heat t beat the Knicks in NY and the Lakers in LA and the Magic to beat the Celtics and Spurs back to back.

So for right now with Boston hurting and losing KG, and the new players on the Magic coming together, I have to say the Heat and Magic are the top in the East.

Thats B S !!! Has last year shown anyone anything ? Celtics and The Lakers dont care about the regular season ( Celtics 27-27 in last 54 game's last year and the Lakers have a history of not being all that doing the regular season ) . Lebron James is a regular season champion ( Last few years in Cleveland and maybe this year in Miami ) but season champs dont get rings . Celtics dont banner up Division winners . If the Celtics and Lakers are healthy by playoff time ( I dont care if all teams are healthy ), Celtics/Lakers are in the finals AGAIN .

Celtics just have a weak bench this year unlike last year

'Tis true that Lebron hasn't show he is a playoffs guy, but Wade certainly is.

Plus isn't it possible they'll have Haslem back by then? He's exactly what they need.

They actually have the best bench in the NBA this year.

When they get West and J. O'Neill back they have the strongest bench that I can remember in a long time.

Davis, Shaq, Robinson, O'Neill, West is better then half the starting teams in the NBA.

Who has a better bench then that?

Last year they had Rasheed Wallace who was already washed up.

spurs have a better bench!
while they dont have the "names" on the bench, they have the talent.
tell me who on that celtics bench has done anything? shaq, thats it, and he is like what 52 years young? the spurs bench of hill, neal, bonner, mcdyess, splitter, and anderson (when he gets back) can play with just about any team in the league.

thats all, back to the east talk.

I could agree with Chuck. The Heat and Magic, at the time he said it, look like the best in the East. I think the Magic, once the get gelled, could take out the Celtics. And if everyone is hitting shots the Celtics would loss bad. The Heat on the other hand just need their big 3 to do it to anyone and its game over.

Still lots of bball to take place so lets wait til March and see how teams are seated.

Shaq is old and can only score if he has a open layup

Robinson has no jumpshot

Oneil is one dimensional

The Celtics are very dangerous, as are the Florida teams. It's too early to say who will win the east, but I don't think any of the three can be ruled out just yet.
