I'm starting to think he's not going to sign it. With all that has happened in free agency thus far, I think he wants to see what his options will be next year as a free agent.

So do you think Denver should trade him so they won't take a total lost or continue to try and build around him in hopes of him staying in Denver?

Give me Coby and George Karl next season and I'll be saying, "Melo who?"

lol it's rumored that Karl isn't going to start the season so I'm not sure how the Nuggets are going to be a strong team without having a set in place leader/coach. To me I think that's why the fell apart last season because they wasn't prepared when Karl had to step down. Actually the coaching issue may be a bigger concern with this team not the players.

Are you referring to Kobe? Because Coby Karl isn't going to do anything in Denver.

I think he may be referring to Coach Karl's son.

Seeing that the Nuggets probably don't have the best chance to beat the Lakers next year, they should probably trade him and try getting something back. I'm a huge Nuggets fan, and I know that he won't be playing in Denver for the rest of his career. The writing is on the wall.

Yup I think if he hasn't signed by now, he isn't going too. Also I heard he put his house in Denver up for sale, so if that's true he's basically saying he doesn't plan on being in Denver long term. I don't think the Nuggets are going to trade him though because they don't want to upset the fans. But at this point its pretty clear his future doesn't have Denver in it.

It was also said CP3 told Melo at his wedding they should link up and play for the Knicks. So I mean there's a lot of signs pointing to Melo not staying in Denver. There's suppose to be a offer for GS to trade Gadzuric and Biedrins to Denver for Kenyon Martin but it can't be finalized until Aug 22. I wonder if Melo still hasn't signed his extension by that time, will they still go forward with that trade.

Well word has it that Melo has requested to be traded to the Knicks. I guess since he knows he's not going to sign the extension, he doesn't want to wait till next year when he'll have to make a 'decision'.

Honestly it'll probably be best for him anyway. I mean I don't really see the Nuggets improving next year and a big reason for that is because Karl is not a 100% and won't be when the season starts and who knows how his health will hold up throughout the season. So I guess it's best for Melo get out now plus his buddy Amare is already with the Knicks and his other buddy CP3 wants to go to the Knicks as well. So they'll have their big 3 in a Knicks uniform.
