Not only that the trade at the All-Star break that sent Kendrick Perkins to the Thunder seriously has altered the chemistry of the team. I happened to watch a show that documents the season and they covered the trade. On an emotional level it affected the team far more than even I had realized. Right now I just don't think the Celtics have the rebounding and chemistry to make a serious run.

If Shaq ia not ready for the playoffs then his coming the Celtics is a total bust. The same applies to Jermaine O'Neal. Kristic is just too soft as an inside defender.

And I agree they do look old and slow over the past couple of months.

At this stage of his career Shaq can't give you enough quality minutes to be a game changer.

Based on the last three years he's just at the point where physically his body is starting to break down.. I really think he should just retire. Staying around another year just tarnishes what has been a pretty outstanding career.

Yes! 'The Association... The Celtics rode to the finals' or something like that? ESPN show? I saw it last night! And yeah, the team is clearly impacted by the Perkins trade. Doc looked like he was fighting tears at one point. Why the hell was this trade made again??
