How soon before the "Fire D'antoni" chants? I dont want D'antoni fired but I think Knicks fans are THAT impulsive.

dantoni is a terrible coach. always has been. his style is fine for selling tickets but winning in the playoffs isnt happening.

Generally, New York fans have the patience of a fruit fly born of high expectations. It's the NY attitude and it's not limited to sports.

The phrase, "if you can make it here...." and I think NYers generally take some pride in the fact that the city expects greatness....NOW.

No because I still believe the celtics will finish at the 1 seed and the knicks at 6 seed

Perhaps.

However, I looked at the remaining schedules for these teams prior to making my 2 & 7 prediction and so far it's sure headed that way.

Granted, we can all agree that nothing is guaranteed.

I like the Knicks but like I said, Carmelo only ads another scorer and DOES NOT change the mentality of that team. They will continue to struggle.

Denver has a MUCh better record after the trade than the Knicks. Knicks fans just seemingly want entertainment, not the keys to win a championship.

Their best bet is get an old Kobe when his contract is out

Chris Paul is a very good defender. If they add him, some interior size (enforcer\rebounder) and get a coach that preaches defense then they have a chance.

The key will be if Carmelo and Amare buy in. I don't know.

And...here we are with the Celtics and Knicks at 2 & 7. Seasons not over yet but the way things are going this is likely to hold true.
