Wow. If the Knicks lose tonight they have 2 tough games coming up....imagine a 7 game losing streak? I'm speechless.

Did Melo get the extension yet?

What will Knicks do with Billups? he wont be on next season right? so shouldnt that free up some cap space for a star point guard?

Knicks have WAY TOO MANY isolation players, this needs to get broken up fast. This deal displayed the stupidity of Walsh/Dolan. Perhaps they were smart because they are just trying to sell tickets? dont think that will work if Knicks gameplay doesnt improve.

Sadly anyone with half a brain saw this coming. Chauncy doesn't want to play there, Melo/Amare=ball hogs that don't play D. Fields was playing great ball and now looks lost out there. D Antoni gives the subs no confidence. He NEEDS TO GO.

Amare is FOS saying his sytem works. It doesn't they could not get to the Finals, let alone win a ring.

If Knicks miss playoffs I wonder if that would be the biggest fail in sports history. There were so many fails (Mets and Cubs) so I doubt it, maybe it would be top 5 or 10?

The biggest fail in sports would be the 2008 Mets who fell apart the last week of the season and allowed the Filthies to win the NL East and the WS

Excellent post and while it's mathematically possible....I think it's a HUGE longshot even though they will likely lose their next 2 games.

The Knicks are currently 35-37 and the Pacers are
32-41 while the 76ers are 37-35. So the Pacers would have to go on a 6 or 7 game winning streak for the Knicks to fall to 8th. Plus the Bucks are too far behind. So it's official the Knicks will finish 7th and play........................???????

I am beginning to believe the knicks are cursed. Why r they losing to these bum teams. I wonder if melo and chauncey are having regrets joining such a disappointing team with a incompetent coach.

Some fool on ESPN said this morning that the knicks are not playing hard because they have nothing to play for since they know they will be in the plays.

HUH?? They are close to the 6th seed I believe
