looking at the east seeding and if things dont change between now and playoff time, the heat might not even make it out of the 1st round. they surely have the hardest road. knicks 1st, then chicago, and if they get by either orlando or boston, ouch.

read today that bosh "isnt happy with his role" as if he ever had a chance of a different role.

how ugly would a 1st round exit be for the heat?

and the odds last week had the yeat as 2-1 the lakers at 3-1 and the spurs and celtics at 7/8-1. how is it that the odds makers, the people who make their living off being right have the heat at 2-1? this was saturday.

What role did he think he was going to have? Wade and Lebron are 2 of the top 5 players in the league. Did Bosh think he was going to be anything but the third wheel?

that is exactly my point. hell the running joke has been he was going to have to change his name to OHAND bosh because the heat are now dwade, and lebron, OH AND bosh.

his only valid point is that he needs to get the ball in the post and stop with the outside shots. he is taking 50+% of his shots from outside 10 ft or something along those lines.

I've never seen Bosh as a post player though. He's too slight to do major banging under the rim. I think he's at his best, as one of the more athletic power forwards, taking the ball from the high post and driving it to the basket against slower PFs. The problem is Miami's offense has made him a jump-shooter, almost like as an afterthought.

Not only is depth an issue, but the "Big three" dont really compliment each other. Their style of playing is almost like Street ball. Entertaining but it wont win you a championship. It's mostly chemistry they need to deal with.

i was reading he took about 70% of his shots last season from the inside, this year he is about 50/50 in and out.

he doesnt seem like he would be to durable inside when compared a d howard but he has always gotten the job done. im not his biggest fan but he is very talented and plays well when he is the man. he isnt a guy who can carry a team but he isnt a guy who thrives as second or third fiddle either. he is kind of screwed LMAO.

They are out there playing pick-up basketball... They have no identity. No size. No leaders. no shooters. No defense. No blue-collar players.

And they clearly have no game plan.

having no plan is planning to fail!!!

Let's not let the hyperbole run too far the other direction. The Heat are a good team (not top tier though) despite having no interior, no point guard, no bench and less than a full season together.

Actually, if you aren't an ESPN fanatic or a 13yo with a Lebron poster on every wall of your room they are actually doing pretty well despite fundamental problems that the fanboys were overlooking.

In a year or two if they get some decent help they will be a force to be reckoned with...if not, oh well.

consider there isnt much of a free agent field but there are solid role players free next year and they will have potentially 7+ mil in exceptions they can add decent role players next year.

here is a list of the free agents, some movement hasnt been reported here yet but most is there.

NBA free agents in 2011 and 2012 - ESPN
