Yep... without a doubt! How can you NOT fire him after everything?? I wonder where he'll end up or whether NCAA will put sanctions on him so he can't coach in college for a little while....

Not surprising here... Especially when you get the hounds around and get the football program in trouble too. That's just unacceptable at a football school in the SEC. He had to go... regardless of how good the Basketball team could get at UT. It will always be a football school.

I agree with Einstein too that Hamilton should be fired also.

The worst things you can do in college sports....

1) Lose which isn't really the real issue, it's hurting the cashflows from boosters etc.
2) get caught, but only because it effects #1

College sports and the NCAA are a joke. Heck, look at what cheating got the fab 5? A documentary. nice.

Not a chance Pearl gets hired by anyone in the near future, if ever. He was already blacklisted once. If they lose Anderson to Arkansas then I fully expect them to go after Cuonzo Martin.

We will see just how serious the NCAA gets. They are walking the fine line between policing the sport and just breaking down and paying athletes....and they look horrible in doing so.

That's why college sports are quite frankly, a joke.
