As much as I hate boston, its is way too early to make judgements.

They are still a tough team and it will take an adjustment period but they are not looking as solid anymore.

The playoffs are coming up pretty fast.

Wow. A 4th quarter collapse and loss to....the Bobcats in BOSTON.

Boston, say hello to the 3rd seed.

Default Nothing

Nothing is wrong with them. They must conserve their energy for the playoffs. Their big three are old. As a team, they can't compete for the top record AND blow through the playoffs. It's one or the other. The goal is to make the playoffs with minimal effort so the older players don't get hurt or worn down, then go all out in the playoffs. They have some serious competition in the East: Chicago is young, Miami with Wade, James, and Bosh the giraffe, Orlando). They may be playing the Pacers or the Knicks in the first round.

If they get by all of that, then they face the West champion, which will require everything they've got to win.

Your theory doesn't match reality. I mean checking their minutes is pretty easy to do before claiming they are coasting into the playoffs....they aren't.

The Big 3= the Old 3. Boston's collapse against Charlotte is not a good sign.

Maybe they are just going through the motions knowing that they have their division wrapped up and not playing with full intensity or maybe they are going through what the Heat went through in a short span.

The playoffs always brings out the contenders versus the pretenders.

To me, I know there is an adjustment period for acclimating new teammates, but it still comes down to one thing: They traded Perkins. We wouldnt be discussing Rondo's shooting, the bench, the O'Neals, the Big 3's age, minutes people are playing, etc if Perkins was still there because they wouldnt be losing with such regularity.

Im not saying this trade wont eventually pan out the way Danny Ainge envisioned it (what was his vision, anyway?), but I think it makes the Celtics trip to the Finals a much more difficult one...who is to say they can even beat the Bulls now?

They had problem with the Bulls 2 years ago so you know what's going to happen this year
