That's unfortunate. The Spurs had a much more difficult division - every team in the Southwest has a winning record!

Yeah, SW is once again, top to bottom the toughest division in the league.

Agree with what people are saying but the Spurs have been coasting\monkeying around with their playoff tune-up so if they lose to a tie-breaker that's their own fault.

The Bulls spotted them a huge lead by starting 9-8. (Ditto for Miami)

It's their own fault that every single team in Chicago's division (aside from the Bulls) has a losing record?

Yes I agree they blew some stuff with a 6 game streak but I think the fact the spurs have such a record inspite of their tougher division/conference says a whole lot

here is the thing, would the bulls or heat still have as good a record if they had to play the lakers, spurs, mavs, blazers, griz, hornets, thunder, nuggets, rockets, jazz, and suns 2 more times EACH (most inter conference teams play 4 times some only 3). i say NO WAY! so any team in the west with 55+ wins hell 50+ wins is saying something.

Two big games tonight: Chicago could get no.1 overall seed if they win the last two games, regardless of if Spurs beat the Lakers or not?

If the spurs win out they get #1. best bulls can do is 62 wins but spurs can go 63.

Oh, for some reason I thought tonight was the last game for Spurs, didn't realize they're at Phoenix tomorrow night. It's nice that we've still got a few teams playing for something, majority of matchups are set already I think( Eastern conference is in stone)....

The Spurs have INTENTIONALLY not played as competitively down the stretch. Something that is entirely within their control.

Also, since starting 9-8 the Bulls have beaten the Spurs, Lakers, Thunder, Dallas, Miami x3, Boston x2 and Orlando x2+ for an undefeated record vs. the top teams in the league.

Hey, I'm a big fan of the Spurs and I think Pop would be the first to say stop your crying, the Spurs know that rested > HCA which is STILL the Spurs to LOSE.

So seriously, if the Spurs intentionally tank down the stretch and the Bulls get close to them....then boo freaking hoo....stop playing your scrubs heavy minutes.

Absolutely, the Spurs are as tough of a team as any out there. However, I think the Bulls in particular have shown they can handle any of the tough teams....the Heat not so much.

I'm rooting for the Spurs to make the finals.
