Ok, the playoffs are here....so that means we are starting to see the kids, casuals and of course the Beckys showing up in our bars, forums and of course the inevitable playoff parties at peoples houses.

1) They spend most of their time playing with their iphone and don't know what quarter it is or who is ahead when asked.

Natural Habitat: 7th row of a Lakers game.

2) Give you a blank stare if you make a joke about Marv Albert getting a cameo in the next Twilight movie.

Natural Habitat: Aeropostal

3) Ask if Luke and Bill Walton are related and wonder if his dad ever played basketball.

Natural Habitat: Band Camp

LOL.... ok I'm actually going to hop on the Thunder's bandwagon this playoffs. I don't really have a team per se, I just enjoy Basketball period. But I'd like to see the thunder make some noise.

well greg, you know the spurs ALWAYS have room for real fans, i hear the lakers are not even taking applications for their bandwagon this year. bandwagon rules state, any team winning back to back titles may waive bandwagon applications and accept "fans" as the "fans" see fit.

you know if the thunder where not projected to play the spurs i would go with them. as it stands only 2 teams i will be rooting for are the spurs and the blazers against the mavs.

Wait until some team has two or three wins in their series. THEN the bandwagon jumpers will be springing up faster than mushrooms!

Honestly Rigas, there was a time when I fancied myself a Bulls fan( 1989 or so until 1998). When Jordan retired and Pippen left for Houston, it was then that I realized that I was merely a fan of those two players( my favorites all-time), and I haven't been a fan of a specific team ever since. I have players who I like and follow, but no specific team that I can say I follow religiously...

i am not sold on the thunder. i like to call them the trevor ariza on teams. they had ONE, count them ONE good series in which they pushed the lakers to what 6 games before finally falling. they sold people on that one series. they have some potential, but then so did the 7 second suns. until they can prove they can beat a good team in the playoffs im not sold.

funny thing is the rockets did better yet not to many people jumped on that wagon, i guess the youth factor is the key.

Or the fact they don't have a top 3 player in the world or a top 5 PG.
