I hate the entire approach NBA refs seem to have towards calling a game. Yes, I am a Bulls fan. However I really don't see it that way. Sure the bulls get to the line, but they have arguably the best/fastest PG in the game who constantly drives to the basket, so they should get to the line more than a team like Atlanta.

The most pivotal mistake of last nights game however, clearly went the Hawks way on the Rose 3 point attempt. Lou Deng does the Paul Pierce head fake, jump into the defender and the refs swallow their whistle, but other guys in the league get that call 100% of the time. They got suckered on several Atlanta flops as well - which drives me insane. Boozer is a sissy, he isn't running over anyone on Atlanta but they play that card b/c they know Booze will get called for it. He may bring it on himself by his constant bi*ching and moaning on the court however.

Lakers Offseason moves

1. Get rid of Gasol
2. Get rid of Steve Blake
I really don't know about getting rid of Gasol. But hell yes you definitely get rid of:

Blake

Fisher

Barnes

Ratliff

Walton

Smith

Artest

The Lakers carried way too much dead weight this year in terms of guys who just REALLY didn't contribute much to the team. Basically this team put all the pressure on Gasol, Bryant, Bynum and Odem to carry the whole damn squad. You just can't do that in today's NBA over the course of an 82 game season and a 20 to 28 game playoff run. The Celtics have the same problem. Not enough other guys contributing on a consistent basis.

ok so fisher isnt going anywhere, his contract and the loyalty of the lakers will not allow him to be traded so the only way he leaves is via retirement.

blakes contract sucks so he is going to be really hard to ship.

barnes just needs more minutes, he spent a lot of time injured and is a solid defender who never got much of a shot.

ratliff and smith are both already gone, neither had contracts past this season.

artest and walton have stupid contracts that will be nearly impossible to get any value for if they can find a team dumb enough to take them.

Some consistent offense would be nice. And more minutes for Taj Gibson.

I think Asik and Taj played the entire 4th quarter, and the Bulls ran away with it....Hmmm.
