the Mavs can be beat by a team with "pure shooters" that also
have the ability to get to the front of the "rim" case in point "OKC"

By the Mavs having one star who needs to be doubleteam, it's no way they can lose 4 times to any time

OKC is going to have to just let Dirk go off , and stop everybody else
if they would have done that OKC would've won that first game.
Nobody and I do mean nobody can stop "A 7 Foot Tall Fall Back Jump
Shooter" who's just becomed Mentally Tough...."Dirk" play him one
on one.

You still have other players who can create their own shot so it's a PICK YOUR POISON TYPE SITUATION

Jason Terry
Jason Kidd
J.J Barrea
Tyson Chandler

Chandler cannot create his own shot, Kidd is too slow to consistenly do that now, Terry is more a shooter than shot-creator. The Mavs offense is successful because it emphasizes spacing and ball movement. The 'pick your poison' part of the equation is that Dirk is surrounded with good shooters, so it's a case of let Dirk go off, or double him and he passes off to Terry/Peja/Kidd for for jumpshots....

You obviously haven't seen Jason Terry in action. If he was just a SHOOTER do you think he would have been a Mavs player since 2006??????????

No I've never watched Jason Terry before.....ever

The strength of Terry's game is shooting, I didn't say he was just a shooter, but that's his biggest asset offensively. I don't what that has to do with how long he's been a Mavs player. That's a truly irrelevant point...

Oh and he's been with the Mavs since 2004, but I'm sure you already knew that...

Ok well that's 7 years and yes it is relevant because teams don't hold on to one dimensional players that long. Shoting can't be his only strength if he was never traded or cut since 2004
