This would only be true if it were the Lakers this year! The closest to this in the last few years is when Golden State took out Dallas a few years back.

Spurs had 61 wins in a division where all teams but one were over .500

Lakers had 57 in a division where they were the only team over .500

Lakers also battled a bunch of injuries especially with Bynum. Everyone knew that the Lakers are a better team and I hate them.

This was huge and theyre still rolling.
The Spurs ONLY had 61 wins, of course if they didnt have the injuries late and go on a bad losing streak, they may have been close to 67 wins.

what griz fans before the playoffs? no such thing. there where people who watched because they live in memphis, and people who caught a few games here and there but no FANS. that MAY have changed but the jury is still out at this point. need to see what happens half way through what ever season we get next year.
