I am so happy the Lakers are out and got blown out in game 4.

Kobe should now retire and Phil Jackson is a loser!

But to get swept vs Dallas and then blown out in game 4? Thats embarassing.

Lakers bought their rings, they did not earn it through drafts. Phil was established with Bulls when he went to the Lakers.

Mavs won, who cares? Lakers still one of the most successful NBA franchises in history. Phil Jackson still one of the most successful NBA coaches in history. Kobe Bryant one of the greatest NBA players in history. If history serves correctly, the Lakers will be back.

while i dislike the lakers as much as anyone, im no fan of the mavs either. this i find funny though, coming from a mavs fan this is pretty good stuff. so the lakers purchased their rings but spending nearly double of some of the other teams, and then there are the mavs. the mavs team who hasnt done anything in the draft, the mavs who are spending about 1 million dollars less then the lakers this season on payroll. the mavs who have TRIED to purchase a ring and yet have not been able to do so as of yet.

bottom line, while it nice to see the lakers go down in flames, a mavs fan talking about the lakers spending habits has shades of pots and kettles.

If history serves me correctly San Antonio has been the most successful pro sports franchise of all the major leagues over the last 14 years as far as wins. This will not be ending in the near future. Lakers get raped and humiliated as they are swept in 2011? Who cares?

And win and lose with class. The Lakers lost like classless punks, they disgraced themselves and the lasting image of this particular group won't be how they won, but how they lost. Somehow I don't think Phil envisioned this as his swan song....

Anytime a SoCal team goes down... particularly in such a humiliating fashion, is reason for celebration..
