The winner of the OKC/Memphis series will only have one day of rest before the WCF - that's a disadvantage, imo.

Not necessarily, i seen situations when the team who just finished a long fought series comes back and wins iGame 1 vs the rested team

I'm both a Mavericks and Thunder fan so if/when the Thunder and Mavs meet, I'll be going crazy. Fell into being a Thunder fan last season and have been following them ever since. I like Durant, a lot.

When you have a team of veterans who know how to handle the layoff, and a bench as deep as the ocean (the Mavs), it's definitely in their favor, imo.

Of course, they've yet to prove me right/wrong - that's why they play the games.

Choose your side. Seems like Dirk always out does Durant when they play. We shall see.....

When I was 16-17 I had saved up $600 and the first day the Seattle Supersonics became a public company I bought 100 shares of stock. I loved that team -at times I was forced to sell but I usually found a way to buy back. In 1979 I was in Vegas when they came back to beat the Earl Monroe and the favored Bullets. Only one other person in that casino thought they had a chance but Freddy "Downtown" Brown did and that's what mattered.

In 96 or so I thought Kemp and Payton and co had a chance to beat the Bulls and Jordan but Kemp was injured or was it Nate McMillan as well and they lost 4-2.

Then disaster - and I'm not rooting for anything out of Oklahoma.

I like Jason Kidd because hes' smart (Cal Berkeley) and he had a really abusive marriage. His wife would go to Cal games just to make sure female fans weren't cheering too loudly for Jason- if so she was in their face. Dirk Nowitzki wanted to go to Cal too but an agent told him no problem he could still go if he signed ....
