Well, this is the best matchup the NBA could have hoped for. You got the youngest MVP in history and his team full of energy/scrappy platers up against the pre-conceived super team that pissed of the nation. I think we know 70%+ of the experts are going to go with Miami, and I, even as a Bulls fan am leaning that way, but the Bulls have exceeded expectations so much this year that why stop now? Our resident basketball experts, Mathguy and Greg1977 are split as well on who they think will win.

The Bulls swept the regular season vs the heat....and Lebron knocked the Bulls out of the playoffs last year. Both teams have to believe they can win and I honestly could see anything happening. I for one, cannot wait.

I'm glad the bulls made it this far.
I don't care if they lose.
I will root for them.

Very few "mass predictions" have been right so far.

So I will hope and picks the bulls to win

Call me opinionated, but I see the same energy and enthusiasm for the game in Rose that I saw in Jordan. He may or may not become the most recognized face on the planet like Jordan was, but he's a great basketball player and I sincerely hope that the whole team (who seem excellent) can put Chicago back on the map when it comes to basketball.

It sorta reminds me of when I was a teen in Chicago in the 1990s. It was magical if you liked basketball.

Yeah they are opening as fairly significant favorites...It makes sense since Miami has had more impressive results against better teams thus far in the playoffs.

dont get me wrong, I like D Rose, but it VERY HIGHLY UNLIKELY that he will become the next MJ. He still has to get pass Kobe, D wade, and Lebron "overrated" James first. Anything is possible, but we are talking about the GREATEST BASKETBALL PLAYER EVER

I think the Heat will take this. I like Bulls a lot, but i think D wade is the best player in the league after kobe, and his overrated sidekick lebron are gonna be hard to beat.

Orangeish, you forgot to put D.Wade's pic up there!

As this is the official thread, I'll restate my pick from another thread, Heat in 6.

Mathguy and I have an icon bet: If Heat win, he has to place a Heat icon on his file with his signature saying 'Greg1977 was right!' If Bulls win, Bulls icon on my file, with the same quote but replacing 'Greg1977' with 'Mathguy'.
