I take Mavs in 5. I don't think they will sweep OKC but they sure will win the ECF. Dirk is a beast alone and add the help he has....done deal! Mavs vs Heat in Finals

I don't think the Mavs will be winning the ECF after seeing this game but I do think it will be Heat vs. Mavs in the finals..so at least we agree on that....lol

Course this is post game, but I always thought Mavs 4-2.
Dirk is just awesome and they needed it. Barea had a good stretch and Terry was solid. Nobody else did much offensively. They need to round it out a bit, and I think they can against this team.

Wow! If the Thunder don't figure out a way to slow Dirk...they could be swept. Durant had to have the quietest 40 pts.

They really need to keep the pedal down. OKC is very good, but seem to be a player short.
Im hoping the Mavs got rid of their rust in the first quarter, and run thru the Thunder. Saying all of that, the Thunder played well enough to win. Mavs have to play better.

Wow......wow...... 48 points..... 12-15 shots......24-24 fts...... what else can be said? Dirk's giving his critics the middle finger this year. Outstanding offensive display.

It appear like Nowitzki is the whole team. If he can't be stopped it is over in five, maybe 4.

Nowitzki is NOT the whole team. There are a number of capable performers on the Mavs. But is he the heart and soul, the engine that makes the machine go? Absolutely. They did the wise thing by riding Dirk as there wasn't anyone on the Thunder capable of defending him. I would keep riding him until the Thunder figure out how to slow him down.

Yeah, I've, like a lot of us have been singing Dirks praises for a decade now, but the easy knock on him was his team never won a title, which as we have discussed I feel is a flawed way to evaluate a player. I was really happy to see him have a game like this last night and I'll be pulling for him all the way....Until he plays the Bulls in the finals (Hopefully). Dirk is such a nightmare matchup, for anyone. I forget if it was the radio or TV broadcast as I listened to some of both last night, but I think it was Dr Jack who said "play him small he will post you up, play him big and he will wear you down." When he is on, I'm not really sure what you do to stop him.
