I constantly keep hearing about how the Cavs probably will pick Kyrie Irving with the first pick on ESPN and it's almost like the media is deciding for the Cavs who they should pick. Is the Cavs really going to pick Kyrie Irving because they feel he is a franchise player or are they going to be influenced by the media and pick him based on what every media outlet is saying?

Sam Bowie was #2 though. Still probably the worst pick in history when you consider the alternative. Olajuwon was #1, not as good as Jordan but still a good pick.

Olajuwon over Jordan isn't really that major a issue, yeah Jordan historically is viewed as the better player but Hakeem pops up on many all-time top 10 lists. Generally speaking( at least in past years) the dominant big gets picked( as it should be) over the talented wingman. And let's face it, while Jordan was expected to be a very good player, no-one knew he'd become 'JORDAN' as we know him.
