In a seven day series at their prime I would take
1. James
2. Jordan
3. Bryant

Only James and Jordan make the players around them better.

I read somewhere that Lebron failed to score in the 4th quarter last night. Has Michael Jordan ever gone scoreless in the 4th quarter of a finals game? And we're trying to have a debate on if Lebron is better?

There is no debate. Lebron has done nothing.

"If we learned anything from the last week, it's that the mere suggestion that LeBron James might be a better basketball player than Michael Jordan hurls a huge swath of humanity into apoplexy.

Jordan is the best. How can anyone, let alone Jordan's former Bulls teammate Scottie Pippen, suggest otherwise?

But is Sir Michael really the best basketball player of all time? Others swiftly piped up to mention Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Wilt Chamberlain, Bill Russell. Almost as quickly as Pippen backed away from his comment, a debate raged on sports talk shows and online: Who's the best? It was clearly urgent that the world get this sorted out."

Michael Jordan or LeBron James: Who's really the best - chicagotribune.com

Don't fool yourself. Michael was great as a ballplayer. I think LeBron tops him

Thats because you are probably 14 years old. You already made the mistake of saying in a 7 game series you'd take Lebron over Kobe or Jordan. Thats just funny. You're funny. Lebron needs to win a 7 game championship series first.....Jordan 6 Kobe 5 James 0

He was a free agent.

Cleveland just fired a head coach he respected and the general manager he respected left the team because the ownership of the team went over his head to fire Mike Brown.

At that point he had NO CONFiDENCE that the Cavaliers would be able to buid a winning organization.

He had a once in a lifetime opportunity to play with two other upper echelon NBA players on the same team in a great city was an accomplished general manager and ownership group that trust their general manager.

Any money he lost on a max contract with Cleveland will be made up by endorsements and business opportunities in Miami.

When you take all that in consideration it's not a hard decision aside from the fact he left his hometown.
