Because people compare him to Jordan. No one compares to Jordan.

The hatred of LeBron will cool from this point on, the fever over disliking him has peaked. The decision and the first year in Miami were the culmination of the public hate for LeBron. Now that he has won a title (where he was by far the best player on the team) and will probably help the US get a gold medal here people will come around.

LeBron stays out of trouble with the law, and seems like an overall nice guy. His character and talent will outlast his bad "decision." He will never become the most liked player in the league, the era of respecting LeBron, and enjoying his talent has begun. It has begun for the second time actually as he was pretty damn loved when he was in Cleveland.

He will have his haters, always, but they will become more and more outnumbered.

His haters seem to be the type that need to find a better hobby than watching "The Decision". I think sorting my sock drawer would have been a better idea if I was down to doing either than or watching ESPN...times are tough and lots of people would love to have his life. Clevelanders need to find better hobbies as well if Lebron leaving crushed them. The Browns(!) and Indians are still out there.

I love it when haters get silenced. It just makes the hate build even more.

yeah i'm so happy that LeBron finally got the monkey off his back by getting that first ring, no more 4th-quarter jokes, no more ringless jokes
