I am watching an old NBA 1976 championship game with the Suns playing the Celtics. This game is fascinating to watch. The style of play is very different. They pass more and even take shots differently sometimes. The biggest difference I can see is moving the ball. Still huge talent.

How would these teams from 1976 do against the current Miami Heat or Dallas Mavs teams of today?

I think today's players are bigger, faster, stronger, and probably better. It only stands to reason. Who knows.

Fundamentals were generally stronger years ago, but today's athletes are freaks compared to those guys.

I agree with both comments but something tells me that some of those 1970s players could get into todays players heads and disrupt their game. I know there is no way to ever know this for sure. I just think that once the 70s players saw how todays players wanted the play style to be upfront then they would be fully capable of switching it up some.
