From espn
Dan Gilbert owner of the Cavs tweeted tonite

" Congrats to Mark C.&entire Mavs org. Mavs NEVER stopped & now entire franchise gets rings. Old Lesson for all:There are NO SHORTCUTS. NONE"..

This guy had the worst team in the league, some would say the worst team in years.
I would think he would have grown up by now. His team was not exactly competitive this year. After what the Cavs did this year many players have reason to leave.

He needs to focus on his own team.

Hopefully he wont "emotion tweet" everytime something goes wrong with Lebron.
Some the replies he's gotten dont seem very favorable of this tweet.

Dan Gilbert needs to keep his mouth shut, to stop typing, and to halt any form of public communication. He's no good at it.

Miami had the worst record in the league just 3 years ago.

LeBron hurt Cleveland's chances of landing some better players due to his late decision to leave Cleveland, which he most likely had planned all along. Not saying that Cleveland would have made the finals, but I'm sure they would have at least been more competitive.

Also didn't Dan Gilbert say last year that LeBron quit during the playoffs? Looks like LeBron did the same in Game 6 yesterday.

Cleveland was not even the worst team in the league last year, let alone years.

Cleveland 19-63
Minnesota 17-65

I guess facts be damned but FYI Lebron had the best game of any player on the Heat yesterday. I get that people don't like Lebron but when it starts turning into delusion of reality it makes it impossible around here to carry on real discussions of basketball with all the crazy talk.

It's ironic that Lebron made the finals the very first year with a cobbled together Miami team and Gilbert with a record-setting team collapse thinks tweeting about Lebrons "failure" is smart?

Really, it's like stopping at a street light in your brand new corvette and the homeless guy sitting on the corner starts yelling that you have failed at life because it's not a Ferrari.

Is Lebron a complete tool? Yep....but so is Gilbert...

Gilbert,
We understand you that your team sucks since your star player left you for a better team. Please for the love of it... just get over it. Stop crying.
Thanks,

Like a lot of people, LeBron James' staged circus last summer when he had a 1 hour TV special announcing what team he'd sign with rubbed me the wrong way big-time, but good Lord, Dan Gilbert needs to grow up.

Dan Gilbert and LeBron BOTH need some serious instruction on what to say and not say in public. Gilbert really does need to grow up, as he has a few years on LeBron. Neither of them are high on my list.
