I think it means I will be paid my millions ring or no ring while everyone else lives on their meager salaries.

Look, I've been slamming Lebron James such he chocked 3 years ago against the Magic. Dude is the most overrated MVP in this generation. He has the stats but hes the only MVP who isn't a leader and is scared of having the ball at pressure moments.

Enough with the immature, young, etc talk. Dude is 25 and has been in the league for EIGHT YEARS!!! That is a veteran by 100% of measurements. Dude is not a leader and can't handle pressure.

^^^Some men have different maturity peaks and some never mature, one thing is certain, LeBron James is a great athlete. Making the finals is a feat in itself, he is coming full circle and is not even at his peak yet.

He made the finals 4 years ago. It's something he already did. Before the season started, he said they were going to win 7 titles.

Well, I guess Eastern Conference Finals title could count...

This wasn't him playing like a leader and losing, that would be fine. That's what Malone and Barkley did in their careers. Lebron doesn't want the ball in the 4th, the stats don't lie.

except the series against the celtics & bulls where he completely dominated them in the 4th on both ends of the court.........

I actually agree with him here - it doesn't matter if people are happy or not, doesn't change anything for anyone involved

Dallas definitely earned the ring and deserved it .... but it's funny someone upstream pointed to jason terry & jason kidd as being respectable veterans ....... really?

kidd runs a nice pure point and sure his wife was an annoying attention monger - but that doesn't mean he has to slap her around, does it?

and if you take exception to lebron for things said, it's kind of hard to put jason terry as the opposite

less emotion - more thinking

He wasn't very bright to start with, was made to think he was the best thing since sliced bread (or MJ), and, surprise, managed to disrespect millions of NBA fans, rather than being gracious in defeat. He needs someone to teach him what to say in press conferences and other public events (like "we'll win 7 championships").

He couldn't even come close to scoring his regular season average in the Finals. If he had, we'd be talking about a Heat win, probably.

It's LeBron James Day today... everyone gets to leave 12 minutes early.

Observer53 is right. It's too bad he doesn't think before he speaks. That statement, backed with his comments about Dirk Nowitzki regarding Dirk battling a cold, well there is just no excuse for that stuff.

The reality is... Lebron needs to rise above the criticism, stop with the little 'snide' potshots, and prove himself on-court. You think Jordan didn't get criticized? He wasn't always beloved... there was a point where it was said he could never, as an individually dominant scorer, lead a team to a title. Then he went out and won 6. Lebron's legacy, right now, isn't defined by the stellar regular season numbers. It's defined by what he did the past 6 games. Right or wrong, sports is a 'what have you done for me lately' situation.

He has a lot of soul-searching to do, and alot of work to put in at the gym to reach that next level.

He didn't disrespect his fans or impartial fans... he addressed the haters.
