PHOTOS: The Dallas Mavericks Spent Last Night Partying In Miami

Dirk Nowitzki, Jason Terry, possibly Mark Cuban, and others posed for photos with the Larry O'Brien Championship Trophy at LIV, a club in the Fontainebleau Hotel in Miami Beach.

According to a tweet from Gustavo Escobar, Mark Cuban spent $200,000 at LIV last night. Adrian Ruhi said that Cuban actually rented out the club and pre-purchased several bottles of champagne. LIV typically caters to tourists, and it's one of the most expensive clubs to rent out in the entire city.

Partying in Miami??

Question 1 - Why is the Miami people (assumed Heat fans) partying with them?
Question 2 - Should Dallas have a problem with the fact that they did not have their first celebration at home?

Or does this fall into the "who cares" category?

Those may not be Heat fans, from Miami or otherwise. There were a fair number of Dallas fans there last night. I'm sure they'd like to have won on their home court, but winning is winning, and they earned it.

I didn't know that the Heat would have fans after the bandwagon was done.

Definitely the "who cares" category, esp. to question 2 since I am from Dallas.

Definitely a "who cares". I mean you just won the championship! You are just gonna sit in your hotel room and party there because you are not in your hometown? ESPECIALLY the fact that you are in Miami that has a great party scene.

How can we confirm that those are Miami people in the back? Maybe they are visitors or transplants from other places. Miami metro has a large population, not every one of those millions of people is orignially form Miami. Probably more so a minority is.

Well, I'm from Philly, and if the Sixers won a Ship, I'd rather be partying on South Beach than Broad Street.

Well if I was on a team that won a ship, then I'd just as soon party on the ship. Assuming it was a big luxurious ship....
