Miami Herald Runs Macy's Ad Congratulating Heat On Winning NBA Title

Miami Herald readers opened their paper to find a nearly full-page ad reading "Congratulations Miami!" next to photos of Heat championship T-shirts and hats from Macy's.

The modern version of "Dewey Wins!" (for those of us old enough to understand the reference.)

Most people in Chicago, regardless of their age know of that blunder...I think it was "Dewey Defeats..." but whatever. Mistakes in print are always fun.

You are right about the headline, I'd swear I'd seen a pic of the other one, but you are also right that mistakes like that in print are always entertaining!

How could they make such a dumb mistake. Miami was down 3-2. Even if they won last night, they still wouldn't be champions today.

That "Rasie Another Banner" shirt is technically true. The Eastern Conference Championship banner will be raised in the AAA.
