3rd Round, 2nd Pick

Team Orangeish Selects:

Malone was a beast. Consistent and offensively potent, he will be a great compliment to Magic and Dwight. Lets not forget how durable he was, from 1985-2003 he played in 80+ games EVERY season save one. In the 89-90 season he averaged 31/11 - insane. You thought Stockton could feed the ball to Malone, just wait and see what Magic does

Team so far

Magic
Howard
Malone

i am surprised you took shaq over wilt there by the way. i mean even if wilts numbers where more shaq like in todays nba his defense is/was better then shaqs defense easy.

this whole thing has a lot of WOW factor so far.

For me it was either Wilt....or Shaq. You see what direction I went, and for one simple reason: I've seen Shaq's entire career, to know how he competes against modern day athletes. I only have stats and a few highlights to gauge Wilt, so while I readily accept his place in history, I was more inclined to go with the 'devil I know' in this instance. And I wasn't going to 'speculate' on whether Wilt's dominance of 50 years ago would translate to a greater dominance than what we saw from Shaq today.

Alright with the 3rd pick of the 3rd round.....719inhere selects Dirk Nowitzki. The first big man I've taken in the draft.

Stats-23ppg, 8.4rpg, 2.7apg, 48% fg%, 38% 3%, 88% ft%, 1blockpg, 1 time nba champion, 1 time nba mvp, 1 time finals mvp, 10 time all star, 4 times on all nba first team, 5 times on the all nba second team.

I wanted to get a big man who either has/had(in this case has) all the regular abilities of any other big, but also with the rare ability to shoot the 3 at such a high percentage as a 7 footer. I get that in Dirk.

My team so far
PG-Oscar Robertson
SG-Kobe Bryant
SF-
PF-Dirk Nowitzki
C-
6th man-

I was going to snag Dirk with like a 5th/6th rounder if he was available. A little high for me though.
