I considered Wade strongly before deciding on Drexler( considered someone else too, but won't mention them), and mainly it's because I felt Drexler physically matched up with Jordan and Kobe a little better, though Wade can hold his own.

I looked hard at Drexler, but to be honest I was never a fan. He of course was a contemporary of Jordan, and just looked stiff compared to the One - kind of like if Jordan and David Robinson had a baby.

ok so if jordan and the admiral had a baby is a terrible thought. now a hybrid of teh 2 would be one NASTY basketball player!

He wasn't quite as flexible or quick, I wouldn't go as far as to say stiff though. He's kind of gotten lost in the shuffle, but make no mistake- Drexler in his day was a stud, man.

YouTube - ‪Clyde The Glyde Glides...‬‏
Yeah, he came out of the U of H while I was in my teens, so I saw a ton of him - still though, unless he was out on the break the open court, I found myself comparing him to other players who were more fluid in their movement. I vastly underrated him, and when he was inducted I was like, "I'll be damned!".

My opinions about him were never popular.
