The Sacramento Kings are likely to relocate to Anaheim, CA if a new stadium isn't built. This would give the Los Angeles area a whopping 3 NBA teams in one market. Not even the New York Market has 3 NBA teams!

I personally think putting another NBA team in an already crowded LA market is not a good idea. If they had to move a team to Southern California, why not put a team in San Diego. There are no NBA teams in that area. If the Sacramento Kings have to relocate why not move them to a new market the doesn't have an NBA team. I think any move would be better than putting another NBA team in the Los Angeles area. What do you all think?

The difference, NYC has multiple teams in multiple sports. La has a huge NBA fan base, no football and such. I would rather they stay in sactown or move to seattle if they move anywhere

No one really cares about the Clippers. If they go to Orange County, they'll have a very strong following. Even though driving from most of Orange County to Staples is an hour drive, its a real crappy drive.

Hell, the city where they want to build a football stadium is 25 miles east of LA and borderline Orange County.

They need less teams if anything. Boot the Clippers out of LA. 1 winning season since '93 and only 4 playoff appearances since '77. How they still have fans, I don't know.

what I don't understand is how come L.A. will support the Clippers but not an NFL team?

What are you talking about? Spoiled? Really? Boston is the most spoiled market in the US by a million miles. I'm not a Laker fan but what other LA team has done anything lately? You can seriously remove about half of what USC did with all the scandals that have happen.

And no, the Angels and Ducks are not the LA market.

people say L.A. lost their NFL teams because nobody supported them, but yet L.A. is full of Raider fans, doesn't make sense

LA doesn't support crappy teams. However, once they left...people now wanna become "fans".

It's pathetic. I can't stand any LA team, the fans here are a complete joke. Pretty sure the term "bandwagon" fan originated in Los Angeles.
