Heard these guys talking about Jordan hiring some top notch trainer to get himself in shape to play in the NBA at 50..? Whats up with that? I personally had enough Jordan to last me the rest of my life...
If Gordie Howe, George Blanda, can do it, maybe MJ can do it for a couple minutes a game. But, is he worse than every bench warmer in the NBA? Maybe not. Who is better for three minutes, Luke Walton or MJ? (By the way, Luke made more money barely playing for the Lakers this year than his dad made in his career.)
One thing a bit weird is that his HOF speech was pretty cold. Calling out Byron Russell was very odd indeed. Btw, after hearing what Jordan said, Russell challenged him to play some 1-on-1 ball anytime.
No personal trainer is gonna help him get 10-15 yrs younger.

No, but he was still a legit star at 40. He's,what, 47-48 now? I can see him playing ten minutes off the bench. His jumpshot and knowledge of the game is still there....
Don't forget he frequently plays with the guys during practices so he hasn't been away from real game play, it's just whether he could do it on a day to day basis.
i have to say the current rules would favor him regardless of age BUT i dont know how effective he would be over the long haul. i dont know how he could do it though, considering he is an owner would he have to play for his team? would he have to give up control of his team? would he do like malone and payton and ring chase or would he just play to play? could you see MJ coming off the bench in a mike finley role for say the heat, or lakers? just a guy to come in and get a big shot when you need it, kinda pinch hitting so to speak?
how about as a player and owner during the lock out? it would cost him $1,000,000 just to talk to himself lmao.
