This year, I'd like to see Syracuse get to at least the Elite Eight. During Boeheim's reign, Syracuse has made the Elite Eight four times.

When you consider the cache of the program, that's a shockingly low number. I guess the round of sixteen is when Syracuse runs into a few folks who can shoot over the zone.

Mixed feelings after last night's game. The Jayhawks are doing a lot of good things, but I think we need a true leader on the court. That's not T.T. and last night it wasn't Robinson, either.

Red Raiders are 2-0, after a pretty good win over N. Texas. I'm already noticing some positive changes.

We (FSU) might have lost our two best players (Singleton, Kitchen) yet defensively it doesn't look so far like we have missed a step. Now, we just hope someone can be consistent enough to be our offensive leader. We better figure that out by 11/30 when we travel to Mich St.

So had to hear about the crash. No survivors. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family, friends, and entire OSU body. The next two games against Grambling State and UT-Arlington have been cancelled.

Mississippi State also upset #18 Texas A&M the other day. Long Beach State did the same to Pitt. (yay! )

Meanwhile, Baylor's easy nonconference schedule has translated into a 3-0 start for the Bears. Texas is also 2-0.

Yes, but they also made a final four four times. So that's pretty decent for any school.. Go Cuse!

The #1 Baylor Lady Bears prove they belong at the top for now, beating #2 Notre Dame, 94-81 this afternoon in Waco. Down the road in College Station, the #6 Lady Aggies handled Mississippi State with ease, 93-47. Even further south in Austin, the #24 Lady Horns rout the Alcorn State Braves, 74-42. Three top-25 Texas teams with the clean sweep on Sunday.
