Garnett is slower and making more mistakes, but still acting like a fool on the court. Rondo is their best player at the moment.
Yeah, and Rondo is also known for being one of the best defenders.

I'm not sure I've ever seen the PG position this stacked across the league since back when Magic and Stockton roamed the courts.

Boston had a good run. Getting three major stars together on the wrong side of 30 was guaranteed to be a 3-4 year run at best. That 08 team is one of the better teams I've seen in the past 15 years. Funny enough the oldest of the HOF trio, Allen, is aging more gracefully than either Pierce or Garnett.

It was going to be him or Pierce. The way Garnett plays, along with how many miles he has on him, made him a virtual lock to be the first to fade. Ray Rays biggest asset is often the last to go for aging NBA players - his shot. Guys who are elite jump shooters can still shoot lights out into their 50s im sure, just don't have the other skills to cut it in the NBA.

With that said, if I were the Cs I'd consider trading Garnett or Pierce and seeing if I could get a good draft pick or a good big in return. I don't know how much value they could get, but they have Rondo, and for the reasons stated above, ray allen at least for a little while longer and could still be a dangerous team if they could get a good big.

In that way, not unlike the man he passed on the all-time 3pointers list, Reggie Miller.

The sixers are doing surprisingly well, too well. Something will probably happen but i'll enjoy the run while it's lasting.

Their schedule has been a little soft but they are clobbering those teams.

Philadelphia 76ers 2012 Schedule - 76ers Home and Away - ESPN

Thier road win at GS is probably the only note-worthy victory I've seen and they've yet to beat a 2nd round calibre team.

They have Atlanta and the Heat at the end of this week and then the first week in February they have a brutal line-up.

IF they are still standing tall by mid-february then we will know the truth.

I'd wait until Baron Davis is healthy enough to play before giving D'Antoni the axe.

Personally, I don't think the Knicks have had time to gel so I wouldn't be axing anybody this year if it were my call.

However, NY media, their owners and management history, fans, expectations and so forth are a combustible mixture.

I think that Israel and the palestinians have a better relationship than the Knicks owners and the NY media.

The worst team in the league beat the best team in the league. Go figure.
