Man spurs down by 18 with 7ish minutes left in the 3rd. Pop pulled the starters and the 2nd unit was .001 second from beating the mavs starters. Good game, bad final possession for my spurs but it was fun.

Yes, initially, I thought Green's shot at the end of regulation was good...

There is more if you dig around.

Note that I never included Malone's name earlier. Clutch was never one of his defining attributes.

man the last play, broken up by the ref, after vince carter mugged bonner was crap. pure bs. the refs handed the mavs the last play on a platter. if anything the spurs 2nd unit deserved the win for playing none stop for 7 minutes in the 3rd, 12 in the 4th and 5 in the OT with no break.

Come on, I served the Bird up on a plate and you don't even give me props? Just kidding.

If you can find me a video of Jordan and Magic bricking 3 free throws to ice a game, I'll throw a rep your way( that's assuming I don't get the 'must spread reputation around' thingy).

On a serious note, I made that Jordan/Magic/Bird comment in the heat of the moment, but as I was watching the game with my wife, I literally said to her 'watch Lebron miss these free throws'.....and then he did. I just don't have the trust factor in Lebron with the game on the line, as I did the aforementioned guys.

Is there anything too this Phil Jackson to the Knicks rumors? I don't know how much of a difference he could make but if he goes and rights that ship, I'm ready to call him the greatest coach of all time.

i have said time and time again, dantoni is NOT a good coach, and he is proving it. i think in PJ went there (unlikely this season but maybe next) and turns things around with the amount of talent on the team i wouldnt say he is the best still. if he went to charlotte or DC and turned those into good teams not title teams but playoff teams THEN i would say he is the best. he has always been called the best but he has always had the best GM's, money and/or talent on his rosters. i dont see calling him the best by taking over a team with great talent from a terrible coach and making it good. take over a bad team and do something with it. adelman isnt the best ever BUT he is doing just that, bad team is playing pretty dang well.

Oh yay, a story on ESPNChicago that Dwighit would be open to coming to the bulls. We can now hear about this for the next several months before being crushed when it doesn't happen.

Its so fun to dream though. Rose/Howard combo > LBJ/Wade combo

1984 Finals, game 4. Magic AND Worthy both missed 2 FT's in the closing seconds.....

Can't put the link up, you tube has it under Celtics at lakers etc.
