The Knicks and Nuggets are polar opposites.

The Knicks have talent, but no chemistry, synergy, or cohesiveness.

The Nuggets are a *team* with great depth whose whole is greater than the sum of its parts.

Yeah, both teams aren't mediocre or below defensively....but Denver has the #2 FG% in the league which puts them #1 in pts per game without running some spastic no-defense at all run-n-gun set-up.

Smart shots, spreading the ball around. Nuff said, wtg denver.

It's been said before (more in terms of Dantoni bashing) but alot IMO has to do with coaching for both teams. Which in a way is refreshing as you lays hear about the diminishing significance of NBA coaches. I don't know if a coach can win a title, but they can def lose one.

Shifting to another team, but along the same thought I really feel like the clippers need a new coach, like now. Their record is fine but I don't trust VDN to make the righ calls the whole way...

Dwight Howard with 23pts and 21 rebs so far agianst the heat....on only 13 shots. damn!

Lin with another big night for the Knicks...no amare....no carmelo....and on the way to 3 wins in a row. What a pair of d-bags.

See, with Dwight...you can add him to ANY team in the league...run ZERO offense through him and still put up 15-20pts and 15 rebounds a night though the guy PLUS get brutal defense at the other end. He is one of the few players in the league that could KILL you with barely ever having the ball in his hands. Some people just don't understand how huge that is.

Now compare Dwight to Bynum that gets to feast off assists from double-teamed kobe and gasol. Derp derp stand under the basket and mop up slop and get wide open dunks. lol.
Not saying Bynum is very good.....just saying that if he were alone on a team with mediocrity....could he carry them?

Dirk climbing up the all time scoring list...

I'm dreaming Cuban can pry Howard from the Magic and let Dirk return to the outside where he can get another 7-8000 points without having to bang too much.

Just thinkin...

Years ago I was a bitter fan that said Dirk could never be a championship centerpiece - he would be a 30pt scorer as a 2nd option, a true freak on the outside I said. Then came Avery and the metamorphosis that we now know, and Dirk's game has put some extra miles on his body. A chance to redeem the time and put him out there in space would a beautiful thing to watch.

That would be awesome but I'll be shocked if it happens. More than likely some other team will offer him something that Cuban won't feel comfortable matching.

That said, I've read on some other message boards that the Mavs are looking to move Shawn Marion and a couple of others to free up cap space. So maybe I shouldn't be surprised if it happens.
