We won't need to ask for Odom to do that much like Nelson did for Walker. Nelson had Walker be the point forward in Dallas. That year was frustrating. Odom is also better defensively than both players.

Rondo is the most overrated player in the league imo (we have discussed this one in length). Pierce is soft, and Ray I think will still be a viable asset to any team he is on, but he is not going to carry any team. My preseason power rankings of the east go like this:

1. Miami
2. Chicago
3. New York (I think they will improve from last year)
4. Boston
5. Orlando (pending Howard playing there)
6. Atlanta
7. Indiana
8. Milwaukee
9. Philly
10. Charlotte

If Dwight goes to the Nets or something like that, this changes. As far as the Knicks at 3, I am not really all that high on them, I just think the drop after Miami/Chicago is significant and I'll give them the edge just because they will be an elite offensive team.
I do not see the evidence of the Knicks beating anybody good this year. The Celtics are in a slow decline but still better than the Knicks as seen from last year. I don't know where you get the idea Pierce is soft.

That's going to be an exciting team, no doubt. Still need a few seasons to mature into legit contenders... between them, the Thunder, the Griz, some nice, young up and coming Western Conference teams over the coming seasons....

The Knicks are signing Baron Davis...exactly how does this make them a better team?

Say what?

Chicago sounds like possible future fate of the Spanish power forward
The Bulls could offer Korver and Boozer in exchange for Pau Gasol

Enric Corbella

21/12/11 12:02

When it seemed that the calmer waters down to Pau Gasol in the Lakers after his trade to the Hornets vetoed a new rumor puts into question the future of Spanish in purple and gold.

The Bulls, the team stronger bid for Pau Gasol when he was just the Grizzlies before being traded to the Lakers, it appears that returns to the charge by the Spanish years later.

As reported in the web 'gather.com', and that includes 'tubasket.com' Bulls Lakers study provide the shooter Kyle Korver and burly Carlos Boozer in exchange for the Spanish power forward.

For this hypothetical materialize Pau Gasol transfer form one of the best interiors of the NBA partners with Noah (a complementary player in the style of Spanish) and share a dressing room with Derrick Rose, the youngest MVP in NBA history.

This rumor comes just days after the exclusive interview Pau Gasol in Mark in which he confessed his desire to follow in the Lakers: "retire on the Lakers was my intention. I understand that I decide, of course (laughs) but from the first day I got my intention was to fulfill my contract. I honor what I sign. And if you have to go get out of here, I will be the player I've always been. There is no more. "

Well maybe since it's a shortened season maybe the bucks can make a run since they only win about 40 games a year anyways.
