I agree that Blake needs to add more substance, but your overall view that he isnt a star is silly.

Someone should start a Blake G thread. I have not watched him play but his numbers are very solid and he is still pretty young. Paul and him haven't had nearly enough time to gel. Clippers make a few more decent moves and in 2-3 years and I see them reaching the next level.

That is your argument. LOL at the bold. If you haven't watch those "dunks", he constantly fouls when committing those "dunks". Refs don't call it. Take the Pau "dunks". One came over the back (sure not often called), the other stiffed armed him to the face (100% no way around it is a TRUE foul). The "stiff arm" can be seen in the majority of those "dunks" he does on people. Again, never called. It is a superstar league and people pay to see him dunk on people, even if he can't do it clean. If he was called on correctly, he wouldn't be the superstar he is.

He is on ESPN's top 10 because he is a exciting DUNKER which does not help a team win in the playoffs. Once you take the dunk away then what is he left with? Can he give you a key bucket in the 4th qtr? Can he knock down a open jumpshot? Being a star in the NBA is more than just being a human highlight reel because you dunked on someone.

What happens in 8 years when he is unable to jump as high?

He is a talented young player who has played a major role in turning the clippers around but not a STAR.

Stars help teams win when it matters not just being a exciting highlight in the regular season

Just a little FYI, spirs are up by nearly 30 at the half over NOH. With the impending win the spurs will take over 1st place in the west. Okc lost to Indy, and spurs own the tie breaker.

I'm surprised they didn't mention this on NBATV. Wow that was fast I thought the Spurs was still 3 games behind

Spurs win 128-103. No spur played more then 25 minutes, and no spur played less then 10 minutes. That's balance, 13 players got in on the action. Plus everyone scored 5+.

How about them Rockets...Parsons pretty much played some D on Kobe...Kobe thought he could get Parsons with the isos, but Parsons locked him down on that. Scola schooling Pau, MWP, and Murphy and of course...the most electrifying player was Dragic! Again!!

Didn't see the Spurs game, but all their players on the team played at least 10 minutes....damn!
