Or everyone felt the need to play with a sense of urgency because their coach was fired. Which always brings me back to this question...."Why does it take for a coach to get fired for players to actually start caring about winning?

Well normally there are no nationally televised games on a Saturday night. Most nationally televised games are on

Wednesday-ESPN
Thursday-TNT
Friday-ESPN
Sunday-ABC and ESPN

The only time a big game can be seen on a saturday night is if it's on NBATV like one is tonight and it is a biggie........Spurs at Mavs at 9pm

I see the Knicks beat the Pacers 2 nights in a row and I'm going to just believe that they won because Granger made this statement below on Thursday Night

"We have 2 games coming up against the Knicks and I think they are winnable games"

The NYC media told the Knicks what he said and they were motivated after that. Their next test is Wednesday Night in Philly against the Sixers

Lin was boss tonight against the Pacers! They were throwing Collison, George, and Hill at him during the game too. Not sure if Davis was hurt, but he didn't get any p/t. Woodson seems to be doing a decent job, thus far.

Well I won;t give Woodson credit unless they can beat the Sixers in Philly on Wednesday Night. That's something that has only been accomplished by the Bulls and Heat in the East.

Nets won in Philly but they just lucked up so I don't count them

Clearly the nets are a better team than philly because they beat them that one time.

Philly must therefore be one of the 3 worst teams in the NBA.

The Knicks have to win in Philly for me to say they have a coach who can lead them to success. DAtoni couldn't do it so maybe Woodson can.

Will the East ever have more than 3 really good teams?
